Story of patrolman who apologized with ‘sorry we tased you’ cake a hoax

The internet went haywire Thursday over a Florida patrolman allegedly giving a “sorry we tased you” baked good to a lady who had indicted him of extreme force.

But a late night news shows that a cake was fake. 

The print of a cake was in fact uploaded to imgur.com in Feb 2014 — over a year before a purported occurrence Stephanie Byron filed fit for. A BuzzFeed News executive initial reported a hoax around Twitter.

Even yet a cake was a hoax, Byron’s lawsuit is not.

She’s attempting to sue Escambia County Officer Michael Wohler, who she pronounced used a jolt gun opposite her after he came to a unit formidable where she worked in Jun 2015.
