The Raiders on Wednesday are approaching to strike a understanding with Jack Del Rio to be their new conduct coach, reports CBS Sports NFL Insider Jason La Canfora. Del Rio had a second talk Tuesday and stays in Oakland. La Canfora pronounced a understanding “very likely” will be reached Wednesday.

Del Rio was a Broncos’ defensive coordinator a past 3 years after a nine-year run as Jacksonville’s conduct coach. He went 68-71 with a Jags, reaching a playoffs twice. Broncos ubiquitous manager John Elway pronounced Tuesday that Del Rio would be among a possibilities to reinstate John Fox in Denver, yet no talk had been scheduled.

Del Rio apparently kick out halt Raiders manager Tony Sparano for a job. Sparano, who went 29-32 in 4 years as Dolphins’ coach, took over when Oakland started 0-4 this season. After losing 5 more, Oakland finished 3-2, giving Sparano a clever box to stay on.
