Ex-Yankees pitcher Brad Halsey has died. He was 33.

Halsey’s agency, O’Connell Sports, done a announcement Tuesday night around Twitter.

“We are contemptible to hear of a flitting of longtime client, Brad Halsey,” a group tweeted. “Our thoughts prayers are with his family during this formidable time.”

O’Connell Sports didn’t contend what caused his death.

The Yankees drafted Halsey in a 8 turn of a 2002 breeze out of a University of Texas. He went 1-3 with a 6.47 ERA in 8 games (seven starts) in 2004, his usually deteriorate with a Yankees.

Halsey pitched for Arizona in 2005 and Oakland in 2006.
