Chris Young and Casey McGehee Named Comeback Players of a Year

Players and writers alike agree that Seattle Mariners pitcher Chris Young and Miami Marlins third baseman Casey McGehee merit to be respected as a MLB Comeback Players of the Year. 

Both were officially awarded by a MLB with a respect on Friday, while representing their given leagues. The dual were voted on by 30 kick writers from MLB.com. Young and McGehee were both also bestowed with a Sporting News and Player’s Choice Comeback Player of a Year awards as well. The Player’s Choice awards in sold are voted on by players and given out annually by a MLB Player’s Union.

The 35-year aged Young, had not pitched during all during a 2013 deteriorate due to whinging injuries. He posted a 12-9 record with a 3.65 ERA in 29 starts for a Mariners, who posted their initial winning record given 2009 this past season.

The 32-year aged McGehee spent 2013 in Japan with the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles. He strike .287 and amassed 76 RBIs over 160 games with a Marlins group that tallied on 15 some-more wins than their 2013 counterparts.
