Cavaliers, manager Tyronn Lue determine on 5-year agreement extension

The Cleveland Cavaliers and manager Tyronn Lue reached an agreement on a five-year prolongation Monday, sources told ESPN.

The initial 4 years are entirely guaranteed, sources said. The fifth year is a group option.

Lue did not pointer a new agreement when he was promoted from associate conduct manager to take over for David Blatt in January, sources formerly told ESPN.

Lue led Cleveland to a 27-14 symbol in a second half of a deteriorate and by a playoffs to a NBA championship.

He was already a league’s top-paid partner manager when he was combined to Blatt’s staff in a summer of 2014 with a four-year understanding value a sum of $6.5 million.
