‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ trailer: We are the possess misfortune enemy

‘Everyone creates a thing they dismay …’ With this, a new trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron presents a self-fulfilling (and self-replicating) prophecy. It’s not some outward advance that could exterminate us; it’s a strenuous enterprise for insurance that will move about destruction.

As Ultron himself intones (by approach of a sinister voice of James Spader): “I’m going to rip we detached … from a inside.”

Okay, this thing usually hit, so let’s start ripping it apart, too. There are lots of engaging pieces to nonplus over…

First, a discerning refresher: In this supplement to 2012’s The Avengers, a good guys are feeling a effects of superhero burnout. As partial of a devise to soothe a humans (and rumble god) of some of their protecting burden, Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark has activated a synthetic comprehension Ultron as a kind of programmed tellurian military force.

Ultron fast comes to a end that Earth would be a lot improved off though Earthlings. Although he inhabits a earthy form (starting with a creepy, towering zombie-bot below), he resurrects and keeps building himself increasingly absolute shells.

And because should he usually take one form? Even your dungeon phone can multi-task. The Avengers (and everybody on a planet) are in a targets of a genocidal genius that can be everywhere and anywhere.

Punching energy will not be adequate to take him down. But it does seem to be adequate for a Avengers to take any other down.

So what’s new in this second trailer for a May 1 movie? It might be easier to start with what’s not new — or rather, what’s not here during all.

We still don’t have eyes on The Vision, a synthezoid who will be played by Paul Bettany, formerly a voice of Iron Man’s digital butler, J.A.R.V.I.S. Ultron has released thie associate synthetic comprehension from tellurian slavery and used it as gangling tools in his possess disfigured enterprise to be a father, i.e. imitate something other than himself.

But … we don’t get to see the Vision. Not yet. Sorry, folks.

Let’s try what we do see, though don’t indispensably understand.

Who is she? The trailer doesn’t offer any explanation, usually a glance of this lady disrobing beside a pool inside a cavern that, to me, looks to be something that was forged out of stone rather than something that was ragged well-spoken by eons of issuing water.

The lady is dark-skinned, and we haven’t seen her before. (It’s tough from that stretch to even tell who a singer is.)

And this cavern — or cave — could it be a place from that Vibranium is extracted?

We know for certain that a Black Panther movie is coming, and if Ultron is intelligent (spoiler: he is) he’d figure out a approach to erect a chronicle of himself from Vibranium, a ultra-tough steel that creates adult Captain America’s defense — and is found mostly in a fictional, rarely modernized African republic of Wakanda. In other words, Black Panther’s home turf.

We’re really going to feel a participation of a Panther in this movie. Andy Serkis’s coming in a final trailer reminded everybody of Klaw, one of Black Panther’s primary foes. And another shot of him in this new footage usually reinforces that.

Note what’s unresolved around his neck.

There’s no doubt in my mind that we’ll be environment feet into a dominion of Wakanda, although we might or might not see Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa, Black Panther’s loyal temperament and a ruler of that country.

Still … could this lady be one of his people?  Maybe Shuri, Black Panther’s badass sister?

Or is this a trap set by Ultron, who has polished his ability to copy life in a form of Jacosta — a “female” resource he combined in a comics as his bride?

That’s a lot of doubt marks, though if Marvel didn’t wish us to assume they wouldn’t have enclosed that puzzling glance of her.

But then, there’s this …

Here’s where we can begin playing that tinkly piano song from Serial that always creates an appearance when a contribution stop relating up.

Who is a lady in a reduce right corner, looking on as Thor gets tazed? She appears to be really light skinned and has prolonged hair (so it’s not a same woman, and really not T’Challa’s sister) though she is wearing a really identical let’s-trigger-puberty-in-some-young-guys-like-Princess-Leia’s-gold-bikini-did-in-the-’80s kind of outfit.

However, this is not some Vibranium mine. It’s a church of some sort, finish with etchings on a wall and copiousness of candles.

More to come …
